Mmmmmmm

Having spent the last two weeks trying to lose some weight this actually looks pretty appetizing. At least more appealing than wheat bread and celery, way more than brussels sprouts.

Nice camera huh? Take a closer look. No really, take a closer look because it's FRIGGIN' LEGO!!! Orion Pax, you have blown my mind once again. Look at all that chrome! Look at that authenticity! Look at my jaw on the floor!

LEGO Mixer

LoctiteGirl is back with another stunning MOC, a LEGO digital mixer. From a thumbnail you would swear it's just a picture of a mixer. The detail and authenticity is amazing, click through for many more pictures.

R101-C Assault Rifle

Wow, this is a serious looking weapon. Nick Brick is back with another amazing prop replica, this time from the much anticipated game Titanfall. Just look at all that detail and outstanding part use, it's a real thing of beauty.

Zam's Blaster

I love a good prop reproduction, and this one is sweet. The tapered barrel is especially nice, and the grip, wow. A very clean and elegant build, nice work Cole. 

Burger Time!

Mmmm, my favorite food, the cheeseburger. This build is as brilliantly presented as it's built. Check out the salt and pepper shakers, they're full of 1x1's, and so is the shake. I can't believe a MOC is making me hungry, but now I'm craving burger.

Suspended In The Timelessness Of Inner Space...

...Are the thoughtwaves of my first impressions. These will be our only source of contact, once you have passed beyond the limits of normal MAGNIFICATION. Sorry, disney geek moment. This is a fully functional compound microscope by Carl Merrium. Featuring Power Functions lighting and separate coarse and fine adjustments, amazing. It's also on Cuusoo, so with your support we can all have one of these.

Blake Baer Tips The Scales

Oh man, that's a bad title, sorry about that. But it's really what has happened. This entry into the first round of the MocOlympics is stunning, and stands out from the rest. It's work like this that will move on and set the bar higher and higher. We're going to see some amazing work this year, this is only the beginning.

Power Up

I just can't resist this MOC, it's powerful (see what I did there?) Seriously though, I'm drawn to it like all really well done props and real-world items. That's two MOCs posted by newcomer LoctiteGirl and two blogged, I think we can expect great things from this builder.

Cuckoo!

Things have been a bit quiet on the Iron Builder front, and now I know why. This extremely elaborate and realistic cuckoo clock proved to be a challenge for the brothers Falworth. But it was all worth the effort, because this is thing of beauty.

What can I say, I have a weakness for real world props and MOCs of the mundane. This eraser and mechanical pen from Moko makes me happier than it probably should.

Boldly Going...

Here at BrickNerd we like to look back, and sometimes to the future. This is an ensemble I built last year. It all started with the phaser, which I built for a friend who was going off to work on the next Star Trek movie. I liked it so much I built one for myself. Then I decided I needed some other props to go with it. The tricorder lights up with the help of some carefully built-in Lifelites.

This is actually the first time I've blogged any of my own MOCs, and to be honest it feels a little weird. Is it cool to post my own stuff? Comment and let me know.
